We have moved where podcasts live, y'all!
And we are SO EXCITED OMG.
We have been talking and dreaming about this day for so long and we finally decided to JUMP IN. Starting a podcast means us having a bigger and deeper reach for the work that we do to share our experiences and to give voice and agency to marginalized stories. Nothing makes us happier than thinking about all of the good we can do with an outlet like this and we can't wait to get started.
We’ve learned that through stories and personal connection, we all learn the most about compassion, and this is why supporting our podcast is truly important. At the end of the day, we are storytellers, giving voice to our stories and to the stories of others who deserve to be heard. This gives direct access to others into the lives of those, whose stories may otherwise be silenced. In educating others, we aim to develop a more compassionate community of people who can go out into the world and use the stories they connect with to create local and wide-spread change. We want people to be armed with important information so that they can walk through the world with the confidence that is often times needed to confront racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, anti-blackness, and other forms of oppression faced by those living in the margins of our communities.
Expanding into the world of podcasts is so important because it is such a widely followed and intimate outlet for spreading messages that can change the world! Or at least change the way our listeners see the world around them. And that is what we want to see and that is the change we want to make.
